Getting started
Install CloWebs, connect your site and rebuild your first Elementor page.
CloWebs rebuilds an Elementor page from a reference URL as a real, editable Elementor page on your own WordPress site. The import runs inside the WordPress plugin. This website is where you manage your account, licenses, credits and invoices.
What you need
- A WordPress site where you can install plugins (an administrator account).
- Elementor, installed and active.
- You need WordPress 6.2 or later, Elementor 3.16 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
- A reference page that is public and built with Elementor.
Your first page in five steps
- Download the plugin. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, upload the zip file and activate it.
- Open the CloWebs menu in your WordPress admin and go to Account. Enter your email address and the 6-digit code we send you. See Connect your site.
- Go to Import pages. Enter the address of the reference site or page and choose Find pages.
- Tick the pages to rebuild, read and confirm the statement, and choose Import.
- When the import is done, open History and choose Edit with Elementor.
What happens during an import
Our service loads the reference page with its Elementor CSS and images, converts it into Elementor data, and tells the plugin how to build the page. The plugin creates the page, downloads the images from our service to your media library and saves everything through Elementor.
Your site never contacts the reference site. Our service identifies itself as SiteScrapper, on behalf of your site (the request names it), and follows the reference site’s robots.txt: pages it keeps automated tools away from can’t be imported.
Next steps
- Running an import: options, consent and credits.
- What gets converted: what to expect from the result.
- Licenses and credits: buying more pages.
Still stuck? Open a support ticket and tell us the reference URL and what you saw.
